My name is Michael Lopez. I have been a Certified Personal Trainer since September of 1997.  I absolutely love doing this.  I very much enjoy sharing the knowledge of better health and wellness to all of my clients and friends.  The one thing that brings me so much satisfaction and what drives me to wake up at 4:30AM to start my day is hearing from all my clients how their friends, family, husbands, wives, and especially their co-workers on how great they have been looking.  I get so excited hearing all those wonderful compliments as if I was the one receiving them.  Seeing the smiles and sense of pride on my clients faces I cannot puts into words! What makes it more great is not only are they looking better but feeling better as well. Anyone can do this!  Anyone can get into better shape!  Anyone can feel better about themselves!  CAN YOU SPARE 30-60 MINUTES A DAY BECAUSE THAT IS ALL YOU NEED! YOU'VE BEEN THINKING ABOUT IT, SO DO IT!  STOP GIVING YOURSELF EXCUSES AND START GIVING YOURSELF SOLUTIONS! 

I train all types of people with all types of goals and medical conditions!  Whether you are thinking about strength training, weight loss, muscle gain, sports specific, or just overall want to learn about having a healthier lifestyle, it's up to you.

A strong message to the newcomers! These are new people to the gym who have never lifted weights or have been on any type of exercise program (you know who you are).  The men and women that come in, look at an empty machine, scratch their head, and attempt to lift as much as they can the very first time. The people who watch what other people do and try to do the same thing with the same weight.  And what happens the next day?  YOU CAN'T MOVE!  Would you jump into the deep end of the pool if you knew you couldn't swim? Or course not! I cannot stress enough how important it is for you to hire a professional to show you the ropes, or at least the basics. You are messing around with one of your most prized possessions, your body!  You do not want to mess something up because you will if you don't know what you are doing!  Do you know about proper form? Do you know how to get the most range of motion? Do you know about proper intensity? Do you know how and when to stretch? Do you know about proper program design?  These things are so important to know.
